For almost six years, Ingrid has been commuting from our home in Wiscasset, Maine to Pond Cove School in Cape Elizabeth . . . and hour each way. In the last few years the commute has lengthened, and she has been spending two and a half hours a day in her car.
This past winter we decided to buy a condominium near her school with a plan to stay there 3 nights a week to make the years until retirement (and our big year) bearable.
An additional benefits of the second home . . . Cape Elizabeth has great birding. After a day of unpacking . . . we caught a few birds.
