At dawn this morning I left our condo in Cape Elizabeth determined to get the Yellow-billed Cuckoo that has been hanging out near the lighthouses.
I wasn’t optimistic as a terrible storm had come through the night before (knocking out the Cable and the first 4 innings of the World Series . . . Go Red Sox).
White-crowned Sparrows were everywhere which is great as I’ve never gotten a good photo . . . as they move through Maine on migration rather quickly.
No Cuckoo but I was surprised to get a Black-throated Blue Warbler . . . which seems rather late in the fall.
