An Hour of Incredible Birding

I had been working since 5:00 am and about 1:45 I knew I needed a break.  I had to pick Ingrid up at 3:00 so I knew I only had an hour to bird.   I headed to Pond Cove . . . a place I had gotten a Yellow Warbler and a Ruby-crowned Kinglet in the last could weeks . . . real rarities for mid November.

With six inches of snow on the ground the birds were every where  . . . and clock running I was and was able to photograph a Palm Warbler, the continuing Ruby Crown, a bunch of Harlequin Ducks, a Bald Eagle and a Coopers Hawk.

Almost too easy.
