Last night it was announced that Ingrid’s school would be closing for at least two weeks due to the COVID-19 virus. Thus she spent the entire day working on remote lesson plans for her students. Throughout our marriage I have spoken to numerous parents, former students and associates of Ingrid and they all state, universally, that she is the finest teacher they know of. She is universally loved and respected. Today she spent her entire Sunday working to help her students during the shutdown.
I of course have no such moral imperative . . . and I went to Reid State Park for a little birding.
The highlight was a first of the year Winter Wren.
and lots of other birds and birders (I guess getting outside is a safe way to wait out the pandemic)
