Ethan and Ingrid’s 2024 Big Year (Week 33)

A recap of the 33rd week of our 48 State Big Year (2024). This week we recover from jet lag, chase a nemesis shore bird and try to figure out how the latest Lumps and Splits from the AOS will help or hurt our Big Year. If you don’t know what the AOS, or a Lump or Split is . . . don’t worry . . . Ingrid will explain it in a manner only a fourth grade teacher can.

How easy it is to gain or lose bird species from the list! Keep up the good work and I always enjoy when your update email shows up in my inbox! Many blessings as you continue the journey! It is great to learn so many interesting facts about our feathered friends. Best of luck and happy birding!

I knew about the Scopolli’s being a new species but not the split of the Brown Booby. Thank you for that news!
You always have informative videos. Great film of the two shearwaters.
I anxiously await the next segment. Get some rest!!
