A recap of the 37th week of our 48 State Big Year (2024). We complete our tardy first visit to California. Visits to San Francisco, the Red Wood Forest, the Channel Islands and a pelagic out of Monterey put a period on one of the best trips of the entire year.

We now sit at a 688 birds and hope to get to 700 before the clock strikes midnight on December 31.
